Ellen Svengalis is a Photographer and Graphic Designer.
Kendall Svengalis has authored and self-published since 1996. Ken’s latest book, “Conspiracy on the Housatonic,” is his first work of historical fiction, and is set in 1942 Stratford, CT. Not only is this mystery book entertaining, but it is a vocabulary-building novel, with nearly 1,500 SAT words woven into the text, and a glossary in the back for quick reference. Illustrations include original artwork by Stratford native Melissa Benson. Ken’s annual book: “Legal Information Buyer’s Guide and Reference Manual” is a ‘must-have’ in law libraries and large legal firms across the country. In 2006, he published “Gary, Indiana: A Centennial Celebration,” a pictorial history of his home town.
Photographs by Ken’s wife, Ellen Svengalis, have been incorporated into all three of Ken’s books. She also laid out “Conspiracy on the Housatonic.” She sells gift items with her Swedish and music inspired photos and designs at Scandinavian events throughout the area. Her latest creation is a collage poster of Stratford photos celebrating the town’s 375th anniversary.
