Donna Rae Henault Caporaso is a Stratford based photographer specializing in the beauty of nature. She discovered her love and gift for photography during a time of crisis and challenge in her life. Seeking to regain her balance, she grabbed her camera and went exploring around Stratford. Her photos capture a sense of tranquility and sadness, a soul seeking solace which can swiftly draw one in.
While her love of sunrises and sunsets is evident in her portfolio, she also enjoys photographing birds, plants and scenery. One of Donna’s photos – a Snowy Owl at Long Beach – was rly selected for the front page of the New Haven Register and a photo of an oyster boat at sunrise in the mouth of the Housatonic River was featured on the front page of The Stratford Star. Donna had her first official debut at the Stratford Public Library in July of 2014.
A lifelong resident of Stratford, Donna graduated from Stratford High School and the Connecticut Business Institute and is a proud mother of three and grandmother of two.
